How to cancel Amazon Prime
Amazon buries this a few menus deep and the wording changes depending on whether you’re on the website or in the app. On the website it takes about a minute once you’re signed in.

Step by step
- Sign in at amazon.com.
- Hover over Account & Lists and open Memberships & Subscriptions.
- Find Prime, then choose Manage membership and Update, cancel and more.
- Choose End membership and confirm.
Watch out for
- Amazon will offer Remind me later — that is not a cancellation. Pick the option that actually ends membership.
- Paying through the App Store or Google Play? Cancel in that store instead, or Amazon can’t stop the charge.
- Your benefits run to the end of the period you already paid for.
