How to cancel HBO Max
Max cancels from the website account settings. Where the cancel button lives depends on who bills you — Max directly, or an app store or TV provider.

Step by step
- Sign in at max.com.
- Click your profile and open Settings.
- Choose Subscription.
- Select Cancel Subscription and confirm.
Watch out for
- Billed through Amazon, Apple, Google, Hulu or a cable provider? Cancel with them — Max can’t stop that charge.
- You keep access until the end of the current billing period.
