How to delete your Threads account
Threads has no subscription. You can deactivate just the Threads profile and keep Instagram, or delete the whole Instagram account and take Threads with it.

Step by step
- Open the Threads app and go to your profile.
- Tap the menu, then Account.
- Choose Deactivate or delete profile.
- Pick deactivate (reversible) or delete, then confirm.
Watch out for
- Deactivating Threads leaves your Instagram account untouched.
- Deleting your Instagram account deletes Threads too — they share a login.
- You can come back by logging in again during the deactivation period.
